Quenepa, Mamoncillo or Mamón


This small oval green-colored fruit grown on trees related to the Evergreen family can be found around the world by the name of Chenette, spanish limegenipguinepgenipequenepa, jocote, mamoncillo or mamón.
Description:
This orange, salmon or yellowish fleshy fruit (similar in texture to Lychees) have a sweet and tart flavor to them. They have a pit in them so enjoy sucking on it rather than biting into it.
