This small oval green-colored fruit grown on trees related to the Evergreen family can be found around the world by the name of Chenette, spanish lime, genip, guinep, genipe, quenepa, jocote, mamoncillo or mamón.
This orange, salmon or yellowish fleshy fruit (similar in texture to Lychees) have a sweet and tart flavor to them. They have a pit in them so enjoy sucking on it rather than biting into it.
